August 2019. Brianna was invited to run the Reseac/hers Code Twitter account, providing information on women in STEM, life in academia, resources for programming and current research in hydrology, climate and remote sensing.

AGU Editors’ Citation for Excellence in Refereeing

April 2019. Selected as an Outstanding Reviewer of 2018 for AGU’s JGR Biogeosciences.

Feature: Women in Remote Sensing and Geospatial Information

April 2019. Alongside other members of Ladies of Landsat, Brianna and her research were featured in the special issue of International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) on Women in Remote Sensing and Geospatial Information.

Horton Hydrology Grant Recipient

December 2018. Brianna receives the 2018 Horton Hydrology Research Grant (~$10,000) from AGU’s Hydrology Section to support a research visit to Dr. Pierre Gentine’s lab at Columbia University.

Featured as a water expert for Grades of Green 2018 Water Campaign and Global Water Challenge. The virtual challenge program was designed to inspire students across the globe to take action to conserve water at school and in their communities.
